Painting & Decorating

My name is James Tansley (trading as JHW Tansley). I am a self-employed painter and decorator specialising in all aspects of interior and exterior decoration. In addition to decorating I also provide a wall and floor tiling service.

With over fifteen years experience, I pride myself on producing a professional finish with an eye for detail. Examples of my work are listed on the Portfolio page of this website. Based in Buckingham some of the areas I have covered in the MK18 area include: Akeley, Botolph Claydon, Buckingham, Chackmore, East Claydon, Finmere, Foscote, Gawcott, Granborough, Great Horwood, Leckhampstead, Lillingstone Lovell, Maids Moreton, Padbury, Steeple Claydon, Thornborough, Tingewick, Twyford and Winslow. I have also worked in the Brackley, Greens Norton, Milton Keynes, Silverstone, Northampton, Whaddon and Westbury area.

Fine Art

Further to my decorating and tiling work, I also produce fine art watercolour paintings, specialising in wildlife and animal portraits. I have previously held two successful solo exhibitions of my work and have sold paintings at the Mall Galleries in London (Royal Institute Of Watercolour and Society Of Wildlife Artists exhibitions).

In the past I have produced paintings to commission as well as submitting original artwork for greetings cards, training manuals and limited edition sports prints. These have been sold in galleries and at Manchester United Football Club.
